About cash payments:

Under current regulations, cash payments are limited to:

• €1,000 for Spanish nationals and EU residents.
• €10,000 for non-EU citizens.

If you prefer, we can arrange full payment in advance by bank transfer for added convenience.

4. Mandatory Procedure (Traveler Registration)

Once the booking is confirmed and to prepare your check-in, we need to comply with a mandatory administrative procedure required by Spanish Royal Decree 933/2021. This is the same registration carried out by hotels and hostels.

Who must register? All guests over 14 years of age.

How to do it? To speed up your arrival and avoid paperwork in person, we have set up a secure online form. We would appreciate you completing it before your arrival.

Important: This registration is a strict legal requirement, so it must be completed before we can hand over the keys and grant access to the accommodation.

Our "Force Majeure" Commitment

We understand that there are exceptional situations that no one can control. If you are forced to cancel due to a justified force majeure event, we will analyze your case personally to refund 100% of the reservation, provided official documentation is supplied and no bad faith is observed.

What do we consider a force majeure event?

• Serious medical emergencies: Hospitalization or serious illness of the reservation holder or first-degree relatives.
• Official restrictions: Border closures or travel bans issued by government authorities.
• Unforeseen legal obligations: Mandatory court summons or election board duties communicated after booking.
• Natural disasters: Documented extreme weather situations that physically prevent access to the island of Formentera.

Important note: Last-minute flight changes (delays or operational airline cancellations), minor illnesses, or unforeseen work events are not considered force majeure. For these cases, we always recommend our guests to take out private travel insurance covering such eventualities.

Important note about transportation: Formentera is a paradise, but access depends exclusively on maritime transport. Ferry delays or cancellations due to technical issues from the shipping company or regular weather conditions that do not prevent general navigation will not be considered force majeure. We highly recommend organizing your transfers with enough time and taking out travel insurance covering these transportation eventualities.
